It is with great pleasure that we launch the new website of our Foundation. We have not only worked on renewed graphics; we have also tried to make browsing easier and particularly suited for consultation from smartphones and tablets and have added new information about HIV and related issues.
The new website is designed to provide clear and scientifically correct answers to the many questions that the HIV infection raises even today, more than thirty years after its first appearance. It is also a space in which the activities that LILA Milano provides to individuals and institutions are described and documented: information campaigns targeted to the general population; prevention interventions to reach the key affected groups; support and counseling services for people with HIV and their families; initiatives for the offer of rapid tests and counseling at our premises or in the contexts where vulnerable groups live and meet.
We hope that people will find our new website easy to use when looking for information on the web and that it will give a good picture of what our organization does, and how it does it.
The renewal of our website has meant a considerable effort for us toward innovation and modernization, at a particularly difficult time caused by the economic crisis which affects all, but especially non-profit organizations like ours. It was made possible only thanks to the tremendous joint effort of many volunteers, professionals, consultants and friends.
